Use of drones in predator surveys
Last month we worked with rangers to survey feral animals. Thermal and diurnal drones help us to view animals that are located in tricky locations such as amongst high rocky outcrops. From this information we assess our management and control options. This was Dean's first experience viewing a thermal drone. He is keen to strengthen his experience in fauna and flora survey work using aerial technology. A successful flight return; ready to head out spotlighting.
